As the founder of Artemis - The Art of Living, Donna calls on her experience and the wisdom she has gained in her many roles as a commercial real estate developer, business owner, mother, wife, daughter, friend, artist, yogi, mentor, inspirational speaker, and life coach to inform her teaching and coaching: Donna is a real estate developer, certified Leadership Coach, licensed real estate agent in Pennsylvania, Maryland, and Delaware since 1985 and a CCIM candidate. Trained in Power Yoga, she is a 200RYT through Yoga Alliance and has multiple AntiGravity® Fitness certifications, adding AntiGravity® classes to her core offerings. She holds
certifications in Level 1 & Level 2 Little Flower training and Y12SR which combines yoga with the 12 step philosophy in order to support people and families of those struggling with addiction of any kind. . Donna spends time weekly instructing inner city children yoga and mindfulness, in order to teach self regulation and self Awareness. Inspired at a retreat with acclaimed author and Jungian analyst Jean Shinoda Bolen and her work with women’s circles, Donna began bringing women together in retreat settings (link to Retreat Pages) and through classes at Artemis to build strong, resilient, empowered women As a Leadership Coach, she meets her clients where they are and co-creates a plan to build their skill sets to cultivate a balanced life in their work, home, and community. Barb began her journey with yoga twenty years ago as a way of relieving stress and slowing down her busy mind. It was a life changing decision for her. In 2001, she began her training with Yogafit and is registered with Yoga Alliance as a 200 hours RYT. She has studied various types of yoga and brings a blend to her classes. In 2016, her yoga took flight after she got her certification in Aerial yoga followed by additional trainings in various AntiGravity® methods. She holds certifications in Level 1 and Level 2 Little Flower training after realizing it was never too early to introduce children to yoga. Barb is instrumental in making the retreats come to life.
Barb is also dedicated to serving the recovery community, recognizing that the power of yoga and meditation can be of service in helping people in the healing process. Tara Hoffmaster is a yoga instructor, aerial yoga instructor, licensed massage therapist, flower farmer, and florist. She began her journey of yoga in 2007. In 2012, she obtained her 200 hour certification at Yoga on Orange. She attended the Lancaster School of Massage and received her massage license in 2016. She recently added her Reiki Level 1 certification in 2019. She has been pursuing a holistic lifestyle since she first experienced the peace of yoga and self care. Her wish in teaching is for her students to feel at home in their bodies, to listen to their breath, and truly show up for themselves. Though yoga is a very personal practice and each

Cory became certified in Aerial yoga in May 2017 and AntiGravity® Fundamentals in March 2018. For Cory, aerial yoga is about freedom of expression. She hopes students feel empowered and playful in her classes and encourages them to laugh as much as they sweat and to let go of their worries while holding onto their goals. Tina is a Yoga Alliance registered yoga teacher and has accumulated over 400 hours of teacher training with a focus on Hot Yoga, Hatha Yoga, Prenatal Yoga and Yoga for Anxiety and Depression. She began practicing yoga over twenty years ago to help unwind while working full-time and attending college. This led to an interest in learning yoga as a stress reduction tool. Her studies blossomed to a desire to share the gift of yoga with others, and this began her journey as a yoga teacher. She added Prenatal Yoga to her offerings after experiencing how it helped going through her own pregnancy, and loves guiding others through the process. Tammy owns a local cozy spa, where her main focus is "How can I make your experience the best possible"? This is a philosophy she carries over into her teaching. Her first experience with Yoga was when she took a class to seek relief from back tension . The gentle stretching and supine twists left her feeling relief and uplifted. Tammy was drawn to Yoga for the beautiful balance, muscle toning and stretching it provides.
After soul searching on how to achieve Optimal health, she reflected back on how Yoga had always provided comfort for her body, heart & soul. Tammy’s focus is not only about her own journey but also about how she can help others become their best selves. Tammy teaches a yoga flow
Brooke is finishing up her undergraduate degree at Penn State York in Biology. As a Biology student, Brooke has learned about the human body and how important it is to keep oneself in the best possible shape to stay healthy.
Brooke grew up in a family that stayed active. Brooke’s mother taught different fitness classes and her father was a runner and bodybuilder. She began dancing at an early age of two and continued through adulthood. She attended fitness classes and fitness conferences with her mother to become better educated in the fitness world. Brooke is certified to teach Pound fitness and Piyo. Pound fitness is a full body cardio jam session workout. It combines conditioning, cardio, strength training, along with yoga and Pilates movements. Ripsticks are added into this energizing workout for drumming. Abbie believes yoga is the foundation for a happy, healthy life. By cultivating the strength of her body and connecting it with the strength of her mind, she has been able to find a centerpoint to hold her steady during both the good times and the bad. Abbie completed her 200 hours Hot Yoga teacher training program. She was certified as an AntiGravity® Fundamentals instructor in the spring of 2018. Abbie teaches mat and aerial yoga classes. She believes in the power of building a cohesive, judgement-free zone where a community of like-minded individuals can come together for the simple beauty of it. As soon as Erica discovered Pound, she recognized it as a way to exercise without it feeling like a work out! She became a certified Poundfit Pro Instructor in 2017. Combining strength training and cardio, Erica provides a full body workout by incorporating squats, lunges, and specific strike patterns with the ripstix. She hopes that her students leave class having felt welcomed, included, and excited to return! Erica is also the artist who created the beautiful mural in the hallway to our studio. (POUND)
Rhonda has been teaching a variety of fitness classes over the past six years with the commitment to help people of all ages to keep their body moving. Over the years, she has studied multiple pathways for people to find joy in exercise Her instructor certifications include SilverSneaker Yoga, SilverSneaker BOOM, and Les Mills Born to Move. Her classes are an invitation to relax, breathe, and cultivate a relationship with peace to call upon to stay centered and present in the midst of chaos. Carolina is a fitness Instructor and avid dancer, and is an AFAA certified Group
Fitness Instructor. She is certified in Zumba, Pound, Barre Above and Les Mils Barre. She has also taught Pilates, Cycling and several dance methods over the years. Her passion for dance and movement began early. She attended ballet school at the age of nine. Her love of dance led to attending The London School of Contemporary Dance. She makes it a regular practice to dance and move through her life, always looking for a few new fitness and dance techniques to share her passion for fitness with her students. (Barre and Pilates)
When Ariel was young, dance showed up as one of her first loves. She approached it as a hobby, never thinking she’d be sharing her love with others. On hearing the words, “Find your gift and give it away,” she was inspired to make the leap to bring her love of dance to others as a teacher. By bringing people together through dance, she hopes to teach them to embrace their free spirit and unlock their self - confidence. She seeks to help others learn how to be comfortable in their own skin while loving what they have. Her goal is to create a safe environment to move their bodies in ways they believe they cannot while having a good time and not worrying about what others think. Lilly has always had a passion for a holistic lifestyle. When she discovered yoga in January 2017, she knew it would be a part of her daily practices. She became a certified AntiGravity® instructor in June 2019, as an outlet for herself and to promote physical, mental and spiritual well-being for others. Her love for our environment and sustainability prompted her to begin her own upcycling business in 2018. Lilly is currently a student at Jefferson University where she studies Textile Design & Sustainability. Lilly hopes that by her own example she may inspire those around her to let go of physical belongings and find peace within themselves, community, and nature. Her goal as an instructor is to create a community within her students where they can come together, share a common goal and support one another in achieving it.
Lisa oversees the Art and Creativity classes. She developed a love for drawing and painting at a very young age. She began formal art instruction at age 11 and graduated in 1996 with a certificate in Fine Art. Lisa’s style has been enriched by many inspiring artists, among them Elizabeth Byrd Mitchell (Portrait Artist), Richard House (Realist) and Nancy Valk (Ceramics). Lisa has taught artists of every age. She believes that using art is one the most profound way to celebrate our individual gifts.
Kylee is a light hearted yogi, who found sanctuary at Artemis. She chose to become an AntiGravity Yoga instructor in June of 2019, because she has the urging ambition to help people feel emotionally and physically better and loves to empower people to be their best selves. Kylee is currently enrolled in college to become an environmental conservationist, and scientist because of her overpowering love for all things natural and good in this world. She lives by peace and happiness and loves to incorporate that into all aspects of her life and her classes. Kylee loves teaching and living AntiGravity!
Rachel has been a massage therapist for 27years , graduating from the Baltimore School of Massage. She currently provides massage therapy services at The Relaxing Note.. As she worked on her clients’ stiff muscles, she saw a need for stretching that was not being met. Combining her education in massage, reflexology, qi-gong, Jin Shin Do acupressure, and Reiki, she leads her students through deep stretching practices to loosen the muscles and expand the room to move with more freedom.
